Prof. Limsoon Wong

The Chairman of Molecular Connections, Prof. Wong drives the technology road map of the Company. He obtained his BSc. (Eng.) from Imperial College, London, UK and PhD from University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. Having done break-through research in various areas, Dr. Wong is well known for his theorems on the "Bounded Degree Property'' of Nested Relational Calculus and SQL. He contributed to the final solution of the "Kanellakis Conjecture'' in Finite Model Theory. He invented the "Kleisli Query System'', which was the first broad-scale data integration system that solved many difficult bioinformatics integration problems.

Mr. Jignesh Bhate

Jignesh is a widely acknowledged thought leader in the informatics industry in India. He envisioned the early need for service platforms (such as automated text mining, literature curation & annotation, developing knowledgebases for the drug discovery industry etc.), and brought a top team of scientists together to start MC. His & colleagues untiring efforts, has made MC the leader of informatics from India.
Jignesh is an invited speaker to many conferences and seminars on the subject of indexing, abstraction, text mining and semantic tagging. An active office bearer of the National Federation of Advanced Information Services, Philadelphia, he is a well known personality in the content indexing industry globally.
Prior to this, Jignesh had stints as topnotch investment banker and an angel funder/evangelist. Jignesh was founder of Ideas2Solutions (i2s) which was an incubation fund, helping entrepreneurs in lifesciences arena to start businesses with seed funding. In his investment banking tenure, Jignesh was based in Hong Kong and was heading the Asia Pacific research for Pharmaceuticals, IT services & Internet Companies for W I CARR, a top Asian Broking house.
Jignesh has received numerous awards and accolades from the industry and the government of India for his contribution to the Informatics industry.
